Direct Benefits to Law Enforcement
By utilizing the CAC model, law enforcement benefits from the CAC as a neutral convener, leading to a higher likelihood of prosecution, more admissible statements, reduced interview time, lower risk of case contamination, and access to expert testimony when needed.
How to Refer to the CAC
- Contact us by phone: (520) 724-6600
- Provide case number and brief summary
- Coordinate and communicate with the non-offending caregiver
- Attend the appointment to provide the briefing and observe the FI
- Plan to speak with the non-offending caregiver after the FI about next steps
- Plan to return to pick up the medical report and/or kit
- We schedule quickly and efficiently
- After-hours response available for priority cases
What to do when you receive a priority one case (P1)
